TIME TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP!

January 13, 2017

Dear Fellow CT NAELA Members,

It is time again to renew your membership.

Although we recognize that your renewal is a significant professional expense at a financially challenging time of the year, we want to alert you that National NAELA allows renewal membership fees to be paid over time by installment plan. The arrangement must be made directly with Trish Fratarcangelo, NAELA Membership Manager. Her phone number is: (703) 942-5711 x 222. Her email address is: fratarcangelo@naela.org.

With 2017 ringing in new CLE requirements, we remind membership of the free CLE programs offered by NAELA. In 2016, the complimentary Lunch and Learn programs provided to members included Drafting a Sole Benefit Trust for an SSI Beneficiary; Disabled Military Child Protection Act; A Report on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act: Its Impact on the Special Needs and Elder Law Profession; Practice Success: Merv’s 5 Rules for Running a Micro Practice; Binding Arbitration and Beyond: What’s in the New LTC Facilities Rule; Reverse Mortgages; Advising a Personal Representative or Trustee When an Estate or Trust Is the Beneficiary of Retirement Benefits; HCBS; What is a Qualified Longevity Annuity Contract?; and Portability and Basis. In 2017, three more (free) Lunch and Learn programs have already been scheduled: Granny Goes to Jail “Redux”; Asset Protection for Blended Families; and Technology for Elder Law Attorneys.

We thank you for your CT NAELA membership, and hope you will renew shortly.
