CT NAELA LUNCH and LEARN

Many NAELA members are not aware of all of the time spent by CT NAELA to impact public policy in Connecticut.  This has been a very active year for the CT NAELA Policy Committee.  Please join us on Friday January 8, 2021 at noon for a one hour discussion presented by Steven Rubin, CT NAELA president-elect (and current chair of the Policy Committee) and Michael Johnson, CT NAELA’s lobbyist, for a review of the 2020 legislative session, our ongoing work with the Executive Branch and our plans for the 2021 legislative session.  The Policy Committee has been working on the issue of protecting elders and their families from being abused by private Medicaid application preparers.  Steve will be discussing how members of the elder law bar can assist in this effort.  Information for joining this meeting will be sent to all CT NAELA members.
