Join Your Fellow Elder Law Attorneys For An Evening At The Connecticut River Museum on Thursday October 20th From 6-8 PM
Join your fellow Elder Law attorneys for a social event at the Connecticut River Museum on Thursday October 20th from 6-8 PM. Cash bar ($5). Live instrumental music/guitar from Jeffrey Sasso. Light appetizers will be served.
Located at 67 Main Street in Essex, The Connecticut River Museum in Essex, CT is a beautiful, peaceful spot on the Connecticut River. Come browse through some of Connecticut’s famous history, learn about the commerce on the River in the 1800’s, and other interesting details about one of the State’s greatest resources.
For those interested, the River Museum will be conducting a “Tree Swallow” cruise from 4:30 to 6:30 that evening. Come view over 20,000 tree swallows as they participate in their fall migration, resulting in their dramatic “dive” for the marshes. This event only occurs 2-3 places in the world during the months of Sept. and October, and the best place to see it is in the Connecticut River. This event is run independently from the cocktail hour but will conclude just as our event is getting started. Do not miss this if you haven’t seen it before. Please contact the museum (860/ 767-8269) for more information and reservations for the cruise.
We look forward to seeing you!
