CT NAELA Hosts Keynote Speaker, The Honorable Paul J. Knierim, and Elects New Officers and Board Members at Annual Meeting on June 17, 2016

The Connecticut Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys held its annual meeting on Friday, June 17, 2016, at the Keeney Center in Wethersfield.  The meeting was highlighted by the presentation of Keynote Speaker, The Honorable Paul J. Knierim, Probate Court Administrator, who had a dynamic discussion with members over recent developments and coming improvements in the Probate Court system.

During the meeting, the following officers and board members were elected for the 2016-17 term:

President Matthew T. Stillman, Esq.
Past President David Craig Slepian, Esq.
President-Elect Amy E. Orlando, Esq.
Vice President Rebecca Hajosy, Esq.
Secretary Elizabeth N. Byrne, Esq.
Treasurer Henry C. Weatherby, Esq.

Board Members elected for One (1) year Term to Expire June 2017:

Marialta Sparagna, Esq.
Debra A. Brown, Esq.
F. William O’Connor, Esq.

Board Member elected for Three (3) year Term to Expire June 2019:

Ed Lang, Esq.

IN ADDITION, THE FOLLOWING BOARD MEMBERS REMAIN AS THEIR TERMS HAVE NOT EXPIRED:
